"The power of the sea and the brightness of the sky are the elements that mesmerize me while I'm at Pantelleria. For Acqua di Giò Essenza I wanted to create a concentrate of power and sensuality."
—Giorgio Armani
On the coat-tails of the uber-successful Acqua di Giò, Armani is launching a more intense version this summer, Acqua di Giò Essenza in Eau de Parfum concentration.
Renowned perfumer Alberto Morillas retwisted the formula, introducing novel molecules such as Paradisone (an extremely radiant component with great diffusion) and Cascalone (a Firmenich captive molecule of floral ozonic nuances), while he included a new fractionalized patchouli, Atlas cedar and Haitian Vetiver to lend soft, peppery and smoky tonalities of tropical woods. The woody-amber base, consisting of Ambrox (a very popular synthesized ambergris note) is contained in ten times the quantity of the classic Acqua di Giò eau de toilette.
The modern "Apollo," model Simon Nessman, is starring in the international campaign for the new fragrance, soon on glossies everywhere.
